About Laminam
Laminam is an Italian manufacturer of large-format porcelain surfaces, founded in 2001 and made in Italy’s Modena ceramic district. Its slabs are prized by kitchen designers for one simple reason: they let worktops, splashbacks and even cabinet fronts run almost seamlessly, with minimal joints, in a material that shrugs off daily life.
Why we specify Laminam
At Haus of Design we use Laminam surfaces in our German kitchen projects where clients want the look of natural stone or concrete without its fragility. Laminam porcelain is highly resistant to scratches, heat, stains and UV light — under normal use it shrugs off hot pans, red wine and lemon juice without staining or scorching. Because the slabs are large-format, an island worktop can be finished with barely visible joins.
Finishes and applications
Laminam offers marble, stone, concrete, metal and solid-colour effects across a wide palette. Popular choices in our projects include calm stone-effect worktops paired with handleless Schüller cabinetry, and dramatic marble-effect splashbacks behind induction hobs. The same material family can continue onto shelving and tables for a fully coordinated space.
