Haus of Design will help you find the perfect look for your home.
That continuity extends beyond the kitchen. We also design and install bespoke media walls — built-in rather than bought-in, finished to the same standard as our cabinetry, and often specified alongside a kitchen in an open-plan room.

Immersive Design
Experience
We understand that every space is different, so we will work with you to create a design that reflects your personality, tastes and lifestyle. Our passion for design and our knowledge of the latest trends allow us to create stunning interiors that stand out.
Create continuity throughout your home. Starting with your unique kitchen, the design can flow out to the rest of your house to other room interiors. We consider every detail when we design for our clients—from the layout of the space to the color of the cabinets and flooring. We look at your existing room and discover how everything can work together seamlessly.

Design, Source, Furnish
We work with you personally from start to finish. Our goal is to create a design that will fit your needs, using materials and products that are high quality and dependable. We can install the latest trends and styles from Europe, so you can be sure your home will be a showstopper.
We have the ability to source bedroom furniture from all across Italy and Germany that vary in price. Working together with you allows us to tailor our design to your space. So whether you’re wanting interiors for a master bedroom with an ensuite or a walk in wardrobe, we can design and source materials and products for your home.
Start Designing
Interior design across Teesside and Middlesbrough
Most of our interiors work starts with a kitchen and spreads. Once a room has been properly designed, the joins to everything around it become obvious — the flooring that stops at the wrong threshold, the bathroom that was specified by a different trade in a different year, the bedroom furniture that never quite fitted the alcove. We design those rooms the same way we design kitchens: measured, drawn in 3D, and installed by our own team.
We work throughout Teesside and Middlesbrough, and across Stockton, Yarm, Wynyard, Durham, Darlington and Hartlepool, from our showroom in Portrack.
What we design and install
- Bathrooms — full design and installation, including Fiora and Italian ceramics.
- Bedrooms and fitted furniture — we source bedroom furniture from across Italy and Germany at a range of price points, tailored to the actual dimensions of your room.
- Flooring — including the large-format Italian tiles we import directly.
- Worktops and surfaces — Neolith, Laminam, Level Marmi and Graniti Fiandre, carried through from kitchen to bathroom where it suits the scheme.
- Media walls and living-space joinery — built in rather than bought in.
Interiors projects we have completed
Real rooms, not mood boards:
- Full-floor renovation, Hartlepool — kitchen, utility, built-in home bar, lounge and dining, designed as one scheme rather than five jobs.
- Designer bathroom, Nunthorpe and luxury bathroom, Nunthorpe — two separate bathroom projects in the same Middlesbrough suburb.
- Italian ceramic ivory onyx bathroom — large-format ceramic used wall to wall.
- Sand and taupe open living space — kitchen and television area sharing the same ceramic worktops, which is the whole argument for designing rooms together.

How it works, and what it costs
The design consultation and 3D design are free, whether you come to the showroom, we come to you, or we do it online. From there we survey, design, supply, install and project-manage with our own team — one point of responsibility rather than a designer who hands you to a fitter.
Interiors work is priced per project, because a single bathroom and a full-floor renovation are not comparable. We quote the whole job in writing rather than per-room estimates that grow. If a kitchen is part of the scheme, our published bands apply: Nobilia from around £15,000, Schüller £25,000–£45,000, next125 from around £40,000 — installed, VAT included. Full detail in the price guide.
Interior design questions, answered
Do you take on interiors work without a kitchen?
Yes. Plenty of our bathroom and flooring projects are standalone. That said, most people come to us for a kitchen first and extend the scheme once they have seen the drawings.
Do you charge for interior design?
No — the consultation and the 3D design work are free, with no obligation. You get to see the room before you commit to anything.
Can you match interiors to an existing kitchen?
Usually, and it is easier if we can see the room in daylight. Bring photographs or samples of what you are matching to, and where we supplied the kitchen originally we will have the specification on file.
Do you install, or design only?
Both, end to end — survey, design, supply, installation and project management by our own team.
Where do you work?
Across Teesside and the wider North East from our showroom at 15 Portrack Grange Road, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 2PH. We have one showroom, and it is in Portrack — open Monday to Saturday, 09:00–17:00, with parking on site. Book a free design consultation or call 01642 635635.
