Are you searching for a kitchen showroom near Darlington that offers more than just inspiration? At Haus of Design, we bring unmatched luxury, craftsmanship, and innovation to every kitchen we design. From sleek German precision to exquisite Italian elegance, our collections redefine what’s possible in modern interiors.
For Darlington clients we specialise in German kitchens from Schüller, next125 and Nobilia, complemented by Italian ceramic worktops and large-format tiles that we import directly from Italy. A Quooker boiling-water tap is fitted on almost every kitchen we install, giving you filtered boiling, chilled and sparkling water on demand.

Whether you’re extending your home, reimagining your living space, or starting from scratch, our expert designers work closely with you, your architects, and your builders to create a kitchen that is both visually stunning and effortlessly functional.
With a deep understanding of interior trends and practical design, we ensure that every detail, from cabinetry to worktops, is tailored to your needs. Whether you prefer the minimalist sophistication of contemporary design or a bold, statement-making kitchen, Haus of Design has something for every aesthetic.
Getting here from Darlington
We have one showroom, and it is in Portrack — 15 Portrack Grange Road, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 2PH. It is about fourteen miles from Darlington, a straight run along the A66 and around twenty-five minutes door to door, with parking on site. There is no Darlington branch — every kitchen we design and install for Darlington homes is designed here. We are open Monday to Saturday, 09:00–17:00.
What a German kitchen costs
We publish our price bands rather than making you ask. All figures are installed, with VAT included — not supply-only:
What moves a project within those bands is mostly room size, tall cabinetry, worktop material and appliances. The full breakdown is in our guide to German kitchen prices in the UK.
Why the drive is worth it
Haus of Design is the only kitchen studio in the North East where you can compare Schüller, next125 and Nobilia side by side in one showroom. Comparing German brands from brochures is nearly useless — they all photograph beautifully. Fifteen minutes opening drawers tells you what a fortnight of research cannot, and it is the fastest way to work out which brand your budget actually belongs in.
Every kitchen we supply carries a five-year manufacturer’s warranty, and beyond that we will always do our best to repair anything that goes wrong. We survey, design, supply, install and project-manage with our own team, so one team carries responsibility from first sketch to final snag.
See how the three brands compare, or read more about the showroom before you visit.
