Are you looking to explore your interior options with a kitchen showroom in Middlesbrough?
Based in Portrack, Haus of Design showcases all of the innovative kitchen designs we offer, including a stunning selection of German kitchens from Schüller, next125 and Nobilia. As a passionate design expert, we understand that your kitchen is so much more than just a place to cook and eat, it’s a space to relax and entertain in. Our team will take the time to understand your everyday needs so we can create a kitchen that suits you through working with architects, builders and developers. Whether you want a modern minimalistic look or you’re ready to explore some daring designs, Haus of Design has something for everyone’s interior taste.
The Finishing Touch: Quooker Boiling-Water Taps in Your Middlesbrough Kitchen
Almost every kitchen we design and install across Middlesbrough now includes a Quooker boiling-water tap, and for good reason. Instant 100°C water on demand removes the kettle from the worktop, speeds up everything from blanching vegetables to filling pans, and pairs beautifully with the handleless Schüller and next125 cabinetry we specialise in. Whether you choose the Quooker Fusion, Flex or PRO range, our designers will integrate it seamlessly alongside your sink, ceramic worktop and Nobilia or Schüller units so the finish looks considered rather than added on.
It is exactly this attention to the small details – the tap, the Italian ceramic worktop, the way the light falls across a matte finish – that separates a kitchen that simply works from one you genuinely love. Visit our Stockton-on-Tees showroom, just minutes from Middlesbrough, to see Quooker taps and our full German kitchen ranges working together in real, fully fitted displays. Book your free design consultation and we will tailor every element to your home.
A Kitchen Designed for the Way You Live
Our showroom displays the latest trends in interior design including industry-leading glass and ceramic-fronted kitchens. Even if you’ve visited us before, don’t think you’ve seen it all! Our showroom is regularly changing so that we can show you different styles and see what the space would be like when you’re living in it. You can see for yourself why we are so successful in the self-build market too as the kitchens we offer are made to be built to be taken apart and put together.
Serving Middlesbrough and the surrounding area
While our showroom is in Portrack, just minutes from Middlesbrough town centre, we design and install bespoke kitchens for homeowners right across Middlesbrough – including Acklam, Marton, Nunthorpe, Linthorpe, Coulby Newham and Ormesby. If you are searching for bespoke kitchens or a kitchen designer in Middlesbrough, our team would love to help you plan your project.
Looking for kitchen showrooms near Middlesbrough?
If you are comparing kitchen showrooms near Middlesbrough, the honest advice is to see more than one brand in the same room before you commit. Most showrooms carry a single manufacturer, so comparing means driving between them and trying to hold a finish in your memory. We hold three — Schüller, next125 and Nobilia — side by side, which is the quickest way to work out which suits your room and budget.
For kitchens in Middlesbrough we design, supply, install and project-manage with our own team, so there is one point of responsibility from first survey to final snag.
Getting here from Middlesbrough
We have one showroom, and it is in Portrack — 15 Portrack Grange Road, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 2PH. It is about five miles from Middlesbrough, a straight run along the A66 and around fifteen minutes door to door, with parking on site. There is no Middlesbrough branch — every kitchen we design and install for Middlesbrough homes is designed here. We are open Monday to Saturday, 09:00–17:00.
What a German kitchen costs
We publish our price bands rather than making you ask. All figures are installed, with VAT included — not supply-only:
What moves a project within those bands is mostly room size, tall cabinetry, worktop material and appliances. The full breakdown is in our guide to German kitchen prices in the UK.
Why the short drive is worth it
Haus of Design is the only kitchen studio in the North East where you can compare Schüller, next125 and Nobilia side by side in one showroom. Comparing German brands from brochures is nearly useless — they all photograph beautifully. Fifteen minutes opening drawers tells you what a fortnight of research cannot, and it is the fastest way to work out which brand your budget actually belongs in.
Every kitchen we supply carries a five-year manufacturer’s warranty, and beyond that we will always do our best to repair anything that goes wrong. We survey, design, supply, install and project-manage with our own team, so one team carries responsibility from first sketch to final snag.
See how the three brands compare, or read more about the showroom before you visit.
