At Haus of Design, we collaborate with home owners and architects to design kitchens and living spaces built around how you actually live – not trends, gimmicks, or catalogue layouts. Our showroom is a calm, design-focused space where form, function, and materials come together. Whether you’re planning a full renovation, a self-build, or a carefully considered upgrade, we help you make the right decisions first time.
A Design-Led Approach
We believe great kitchens start with clarity, not compromise.
Every project begins with understanding:
how you cook and entertain
how your household functions day to day
how long you intend to stay in your home
and what level of finish genuinely suits your lifestyle
This allows us to design kitchens that feel effortless to use, timeless in appearance, and appropriate to the property – not over-designed or under-specified.
What You’ll Experience in the Showroom
Our showroom is deliberately curated. Rather than overwhelming you with endless options, we focus on quality, proportion, and detail.
You’ll be able to explore:
Modern, luxury kitchen displays
Integrated appliances and intelligent storage solutions
Worktops, finishes, and materials you can see and touch
Lighting concepts that elevate both function and atmosphere
Everything is presented as it would be designed for a real home, not a brochure.
Kitchens in Stockton-on-Tees and across Teesside
Our Portrack Grange Road showroom is where kitchens for Stockton-on-Tees and the wider Teesside area are designed. Haus of Design is a German kitchen studio — Schüller, next125 and Nobilia — and this is the only kitchen studio in the North East where you can compare all three side by side in one showroom. Kitchen design in Stockton begins with a free consultation: we survey the room, design it in 3D, then supply, install and project-manage the build with our own team.
Teesside is on our doorstep. Middlesbrough, Yarm, Ingleby Barwick, Thornaby, Billingham and Norton are all a short drive from Portrack, with parking on site. Installed and VAT-inclusive, Nobilia kitchens start from around £15,000, Schüller runs £25,000–£45,000 and next125 from £40,000.
Experience You Can Trust
With decades of experience working on self-builds, bespoke homes, and small luxury developments, we understand kitchens not just as furniture — but as part of a wider architectural and construction process.
That means:
- layouts that work with structure, not against it
- coordination with builders, architects, and trades
- realistic budgets and honest guidance
- fewer mistakes, delays, and compromises
Good design saves time, money, and stress.
Our Promise
We don’t chase volume.
We don’t oversell.
And we don’t design kitchens we wouldn’t put in our own homes.
What we do offer is:
clear advice
thoughtful design
and a level of care that continues long after installation
